PeriCor, LLC was founded in 2016 as a spin-off from Children’s National Health System.  PeriCor was formed as a collaborative effort between engineers at the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation and clinical support from the Division of Cardiology at Children’s National Health System.  The original goal of PeriCor was to identify limitations in pediatric care and to develop new surgical and procedural techniques and tools that enable safe and effective treatment for the vulnerable pediatric population.

We have discovered that these technologies are applicable in the adult market as well and are currently focused on minimally invasive alternatives to surgical procedures to significantly decrease procedural pain, morbidity and mortality. PeriCor has access to quick prototype development achieved by access to state of the art 3D printing and manufacturing, as well as support from on-site clinical staff.
